I would listen to music on my iPod and play it all the time. I was always listening to the same songs. I was always trying to figure out what to do with it. I think that’s the closest thing to art. It has the best soul. I love music with a great sense of melody. I think that’s the closest thing to art. I’m not interested in being a famous artist. I don't like being a famous artist. If you don’t like your own opinions, you will never let others tell you what to think. If you don’t like yourself, you’ll never be yourself." This is the message of Indie Artist to the masses. I was born and raised in the small town of Potsdam, Germany, and my family had moved to America in the late 80’s. In college I studied music and drama and was a member of a college choir. I moved to New York and began playing guitar and singing in bands. The band is comprised of musicians who grew up in a musical house in which they had to read books from a bookcase. They had no real instrument or musical instruments until they were children, but this experience and the songs they heard were the impetus to create a band. As they grew older they started writing songs and writing songs to play on the piano. The songs evolved into their own sound and eventually became the band.
