Biography: Sex Abuse Attorney I have felony and misdemeanor jury trial experience. I've represented juveniles on "terroristic threat" felony charges. Using my technology background, I was able to advise the best course of action in this matter with electronic evidence. My first jury trial as lead counsel resulted in a unanimous verdict for my client. My litigation experience is in both state and federal courts. I have successfully argued in Texas and nationwide federal courts in a variety of hearings. I am one of two original trial lawyers to successfully settle a four-year multi-million dollar lawsuit against Apple in an intellectual property dispute over the invention of Siri's natural language processing tools. Apple settled the case on the courthouse steps for $25M. My clients were the inventors — professors at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the longest-standing and distinguished technical institute in America. My and my firm's victory in a patent infringement suit, LoggerHead Tools v. Sears Holdings Corp., et al., is recognized as one of 2017's Top 20 Verdicts in Illinois. After facing down litigation titans such as Apple, Sears, and their Chinese manufacturer, no opponent intimidates me. My solo civil experience includes successfully appealing an employee-benefit adverse decision against a Fortune 10 company, and successfully defending against breach of contract allegations. My civil experience also includes suing on fraud and unfair trade practices claims, and litigating anti-SLAPP matters, patent infringement, and Lanham Act violations in Texas and California state courts, and the federal courts of United States’ Districts of Texas, Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, New Jersey, and New York.
